We are very excited to invite you to Tea Tuesday at the Trust: For Downton Friends and Fans, scheduled for Tuesday, February 19th, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in the Historical Society Museum Founders' Hall.
If you are wrapped up in the current phenomenon that “Downton Abbey” has become, this event is for you!
We'll be showcasing pieces in our collection that reflect an “upstairs, downstairs” theme. The exhibit will include tea services and clothing items from the period. The evening will feature a Tea Talk by Trust Board of Directors member David Walsh, and walk-through tours of our Victorian House Museum, Bonham House, will be offered at the end of the evening.
Dress for the occasion! Come dressed in period attire and be be entered into a drawing for a tea gift box. The evening’s menu will include tea (of course), scones, tea sandwiches, Lady Mary Cocktails, and wine.
Join us after work for a fun and social event to remember!
